Chicago Youth Trainer and Acting Coach
When not auditioning, memorizing, rehearsing or performing, I can generally be found doing one of two types of youth training. Peer Leadership through Prevention Partnership in Chicago or Acting for the Camera.
Being a youth trainer for Prevention Partnership in Chicago has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Working with 7th and 8th graders in primarily underserved neighborhoods, the folks at Prevention Partnership have been positive change agents delivering empowering messages since 1987, and I'm proud to be a small part of their efforts.
On most weekends I'm training actors from 5 to 60 on the art and the business of acting for the camera. I didn't really get going with acting until I was 40. Now 50, acting has become the main thrust in my life, and sharing what I've learned as a way to help other actors let their art out has been really great.
