Kiaora Crew Chief

I've crewed on the racing yacht Kiaora out of Chicago's DuSable Harbor since 1996, and was appointed crew chief by owner/driver Dr. Ron Carroll in 2002. Kiaora is a 42 foot Beneteau "First 42" design that races with a crew of 6 to 10 people, depending on weather conditions and the race situation.

Among Kiaora's achievements since I joined the crew are, A National Offshore One Design (NOOD) Championship, A Chicago Yacht Club "Verve Cup" Championship, first place finishes in Chicago's annual Tri State, a 3.5 day, port to port race, and dozens of podium finishes (3rd or better) in various regattas.Contact me directly to arrange a try out for team kiaora.
